Salary — The definition of failure.

We have been living the life of immediate rewards. All our life, most of us have been too focused on now. Although this is somewhat ironic, all the right things for later, and all the distractions for now. That is the life we have been living, is it not? We procrastinate everything that is to be done now and do everything that could be done later.

This life style starts the moment we are born. We cry, we get fed. We grow up. We cry, we get our favorite toy. All of this has been molding our minds in such a way that now we crave instant rewards. We do not want to wait 20 years to be a successful, do we? This business is gonna fulfill my dreams…this is what we should all work in… believe me we can do it… its all gonna work… just trust me okay? ..This is the game changer.. and two weeks later when the sales count is still zero, I am the first one to give up. Any of this sounds familiar?

Lets get the facts straight, you are gonna have zero success for a very very long time. Your product might be the game changer but who cares about your product if they do not know it exists? The masses are not waiting for your product to get released. They are not scouring the Internet for your product. They might have the problems that your product magically solves, but who are you? You know your vision, your partners do, your co-founders do, but do the rest of the world know you?

If the people do not know you or that your product is out there, no matter how awesome the product is, unless and until it catches the stream, it’s never going up to the top. The crazy fact is, we all know this in our heads don’t we? And yet, we set goals, start working hard as hell and then we are the first ones to give up a week or two later. A funny thing a’int it.

Our lives aren’t TV shows or movies, where everything works as planned. So unless you start committing your self completely to your dream, you are never gonna achieve anything but failure.

Salary, that is your pay check from your boss, comes right at the middle of all this mess. It brings instant happiness and instant rewards, does it not? Who would work on their dreams — which might or might not come true — for years without any rewards, when you can get instant rewards from working a regular easier job right?

How to commit?

People say love is blind, I say you have to be blind to succeed.

What do I mean? If you blindly follow your goals, keeping the endgame in the back of your heads and do everything possible to get closer to your dreams, not giving a shit about what other people think and not giving a shit about what you think about the problems right in front of you, then and only then, shall you achieve your dreams.

Stop dreaming. Start Working on it blindly.
